# Getting Started

> Brief guide to getting started with Moonbounce.

<Note>
  **Using labels instead of policies?** Moonbounce has two experiences, and these docs cover the policy-first one. If your workspace has you crafting **labels** rather than writing policies, you're on the label-first experience — switch to the **label-first** experience using the version selector at the top, or jump to the [Quickstart](/v2/quickstart).

## Overview

This brief guide introduces the key features of Moonbounce, highlighting how it can help streamline your policy management process.

***

### Home Page

From the Home Page, you can easily access key areas of the system. This includes:

* Help articles, which offer support resources to assist with any questions.
* Your Policies section, where you can manage and configure compliance settings.
* Datasets, where all uploaded data used for testing is stored.
* This navigational walkthrough, which you can revisit at any time for guidance.

### Navigation Bar

On the left side of the screen, you'll find the navigation bar. This allows you to:

* Return to the Home Page from any page in Moonbounce.
* Manage your Policies, where you can create, edit, and otherwise view details of your Policies.
* Access the support center for access to our reference documentation.
* View and manage your user account.

### Manage Policies Page

In the "Manage Policies" section, you have the ability to:

* View and edit existing Policies.
* Manage your Policies, including updating their states, viewing the version numbers, and reviewing the last edit dates.
* Identify policies using their unique IDs, displayed next to each policy name.
* Create new Policies.

### Policy Editor

On the Editor page, you can select an existing Policy for modification. Once selected, you are able to:

* View the configurations of your Policy.
* Add, edit, or remove Sections or Rules.
* Create a Section or a Label.
* Create Rules and add them to your Section. Rules are created using Conditions.
* Adjust Signal Lists.
* Run tests on the current Policy, or on your updated Policy.

### Running a Test

Below the Policy Editor, you can run tests on your Policy using your datasets, or pre-defined datasets provided by Moonbounce. This includes:

* Selecting a dataset or uploading your own, adjusting your User Labels if needed, then clicking "Run Test."
* Viewing the test results, which display lines of content analyzed, showing whether the content was classified as true (the AI flagged the content based on a Section in the Policy) or false (the AI did not flag the content).
* Downloading the test results in csv format, once a test is run.
* Make adjustments to your Policy based on the test results.
* Re-run your test and continue making adjustments until you are comfortable with the test results.
