API Reference - Moonbounce Docs

Every request authenticates with an API key for your account, sent as a bearer token in the Authorization header. See API Key Management to create a key.

Endpoints by account type

Moonbounce accounts are either policy-first or label-first. Some endpoints belong to one workflow; the job read and feedback endpoints work with both.

Endpoints	Account
`POST /v1/jobs`, `POST /v1/jobs/stream`	Policy-first: requires a `policy_id`.
`POST /v1/batch-jobs`, `GET /v1/batch-jobs`, `POST /v1/batch-jobs/{batchJobId}/cancel`	Policy-first: batch jobs are created from a `policy_id`.
`/v1/labels`, `/v1/labels/{labelId}`, `/v1/labels/{labelId}/versions`, `POST /v1/labels/evaluate`	Label-first only. Other accounts receive `FAILED_PRECONDITION`.
`GET /v1/jobs`, `GET /v1/jobs/{jobUuid}`, `GET /v1/jobs/{jobUuid}/labels`, `POST /v1/jobs/{jobUuid}/feedback`, `GET /v1/jobs/{jobUuid}/feedback`	Both. Works on any job in the account, including the jobs `POST /v1/labels/evaluate` creates (it returns a `job_uuid` for each label version it evaluates).

Which account do you have?

If your workspace has you crafting labels rather than writing policies, you’re on a label-first account; new accounts start label-first. Use the version selector at the top of these docs to switch between the policy-first and label-first API Reference. To enable label-first endpoints on an existing account, contact support@moonbounce.io.
